The hardware itself uses an embedded Linux operating system (known as MontaVista Linux) with an Intel Pentium 4 series CPU (at 3.0 GHz), a NVIDIA GeForce 6 series GPU (w/ 256MB GDDR3 VRAM), and a 1 GB DDR-400 SDRAM for memory. It was later superseded by their RingEdge board. First released in 2005 with The House of the Dead 4, it is their first board to use a standard PC architecture (as its predecessor, Chihiro, utilizes PC components in an Xbox-based architecture), similar to Taito's Type X hardware (released one year prior). Lindbergh (also known as Sega Lindbergh) is an arcade system board developed and used by Sega for a variety of high-end arcade releases in the mid-to-late 2000's.
